What are some cheap/free things to do near the Oregon City OR Area?

Funny, I’ve lived here for 20 years and have no clue.

ummm, you could go to a museum… the rose garden (they usually have either bands or sports), check the A&E section in the Oregonian to get some entertainment ideas… you could always go to the Saturday market?

I have not lived there in a long time, but I used to live in Gladstone, so here are some ideas: Go to the Oregon City elevator. Visit the John Mcloughlin House. If you into this kind of thing go fishing or crawdadding on the Willamette or Clackamas River. Take a hike or walk up to Willamette Falls. You can hang-out or feed the ducks at Clackamette Park.

We used to go rafting down the Clackamas River, find a friend that has some horses and go riding. Attend some of the summer concerts (free) in Clackamas County there are several parks that have that happening. Meet people and do some good by volunteering to help out at local humane society. I’ve lived here my whole life and have found that if you look hard enough, you will find plenty to do!
